Biography

Dr. Aliakbar (Dr. Ali) Setarehaseman is a dedicated and compassionate dentist who was born and raised right here in Houston, TX. His innate desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others and his passion for healthcare inspired him to embark on a rewarding career in dentistry.

Dr. Ali began his educational journey at the University of Houston, where he earned his undergraduate degree in 2008. Driven by his determination to provide the best possible care for his patients, he pursued a Doctorate at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA), graduating in 2012. During his time at UTHSCSA, Dr. Ali discovered his calling to work with children and advocate for their oral health. This realization led him to undertake further specialized training in Pediatric Dentistry, completing a Pediatric Dentistry residency at UTHSCSA. In 2014, he received a Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry, and he proudly holds Board Certification with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

As a practicing dentist, Dr. Ali is wholeheartedly dedicated to providing children with the most comfortable and stress-free dental experiences possible. He understands that dental visits can be intimidating for young patients, and he strives to create a welcoming and relaxed environment for both children and their parents. Dr. Ali employs various treatment options, including conscious sedation, to ensure that every child feels at ease during their dental procedures. His caring approach not only fosters positive associations with dental visits but also minimizes the likelihood that children will develop dental anxiety in the future.
